The short version

This site is run by Focal Agency LLC, a California limited liability company doing business as FOCAL. By using getyourweekback.com you agree to what follows. If you do not, please do not use the site.

These terms cover the website. The actual work we do for a client is governed by whatever agreement we sign with that client, and that agreement wins over anything on this page.

Using the site

Use it for lawful purposes. Do not try to break it, scrape it at volume, or use it to send us anything malicious. We can change or take down any part of the site at any time.

Everything on the site — copy, design, logos, images — belongs to Focal Agency LLC or is used with permission. You can read it and share a link to it. You cannot republish it as your own.

Messaging terms (SMS)

Program. FOCAL (Focal Agency LLC) sends text messages to people who have asked for them: conversational replies to your inquiry, Checkup and scheduling messages, and account or service notifications related to work we are doing together.

How you opt in. By checking the SMS consent box on a FOCAL web form and providing your mobile number, by texting us first, or by telling one of our team in writing to text you. The box is never pre-checked, and consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any good or service from us.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies and depends on your conversation with us.

Cost. There is no charge from FOCAL. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your plan with your mobile carrier.

Opting out. Reply STOP to any message at any time. We will send one confirmation and then stop texting that number. You can also email info@focal-agency.com and ask us to remove your number.

Help. Reply HELP to any message, or email info@focal-agency.com.

Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission from your wireless service provider and is outside our control.

Your number. You confirm that the mobile number you give us is yours, and that you will tell us if it changes or is reassigned.

Privacy. How we handle the number and the consent is set out in our Privacy Policy. In short: no mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Email

If you give us your email address, we may reply to you and send you occasional material about our work. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link that works.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Focal Agency LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of this site, and our total liability relating to the site will not exceed one hundred dollars.

We sometimes link to other people's sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for what is on them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when we last did. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
